"Baggage went smoothly"
Flew with Air Transat last week the baggage side of things was totally fine. Checking my suitcase was quick, the staff tagged it properly, and when we landed, my bag came out on the belt after just a few minutes. No damage, nothing missing, nothing weird at all. That’s really all I want when I fly, so yeah, good experience overall...

"Surprisingly Decent Sleep"
I had a long flight and the seat was more comfortable than I expected. There was actually decent leg room too, which made a big difference. I even slept better than I normally do on planes. Weirdly, I still remember the guy across the aisle neatly folding his napkin into a tiny square before every drink, but overall it was a surprisingly easy ride.

"Couldn’t complete my booking"
I tried to book through the app, but every time I got to the payment step, it just kept freezing and wouldn’t let me go any further. I checked my connection and even tried closing and reopening the app, but the same thing kept happening. It was frustrating because I was ready to confirm everything and just couldn’t get the payment to go through

This wasn’t the best experience for family travel. We had long delays, the kids were exhausted, and the staff didn’t seem very interested in helping us out. It just made the whole trip more stressful than it needed to be. Anyway.

"Special Assistance Was Fine, Just a Bit Unorganized"
I booked wheelchair assistance for my mom, and it did show up eventually, but we had to ask twice at the check-in desk before anything really happened. The staff were friendly enough, which I appreciated, but they seemed a little unsure about what the process was supposed to be!!
Once someone came over, boarding was much easier, and that definitely helped. The waiting around made my mom a bit stressed though, so while it wasn’t a bad experience, I do think Air Transat could make the special assistance process clearer and smoother.

"The meal on my Air Transat flight..."
The meal on my Air Transat flight was, well, definitely memorable for the wrong reasons. The pasta was dry, the sauce had a strange taste, and the bread was so hard it felt like it had been waiting for me since a previous flight. I tried to eat a bit, but there’s only so much enthusiasm you can fake.
The drinks didn’t exactly save the experience either. The coffee tasted burnt, the juice was warm, and somehow they were already out of certain options early on, which was impressive in its own way. For a long flight, it was disappointing, so next time I’ll be doing everyone a favor and bringing my own food.

"Entertainment was a letdown on a long flight"
On a shorter flight, I probably wouldn’t have cared much, but on this long one it was really frustrating. The screen kept freezing, and most of the shows I tried wouldn’t load at all. It made the flight feel like it dragged on forever...

The hotel just kind of felt cheap to me, though I can’t really point to one specific thing that proves it. The flights were also messy and stressful, at least from my experience. Maybe I just had bad luck, but the whole trip didn’t feel very smooth.

"Wouldn’t rely on their updates again"
I don’t remember every little detail of the booking, but I definitely remember the stressful part: my flight time changed and I only found out because I happened to check it myself. I don’t recall getting any proper email or text about it. When I contacted customer service, the answers were vague and it took ages to get anywhere. Maybe their notifications work sometimes, but when I actually needed them, they were useless. I wouldn’t trust them again.

I wasn’t thrilled with my experience because the fees just kept piling up. The initial price seemed okay, but by the end, the final cost was higher than I expected. Maybe some people won’t mind, but for me it left a bad impression

"Pretty good routes for vacation travel"
I ended up going with Air Transat because they had the route I needed without some strange long layover. Ive used them mostly for Europe and sunny vacation spots, and their options are decent. A few flights only run on certain days, so I had to shift my dates around a bit, but it wasnt a big deal. Overall, the route choices were better than I expected. Id give them 4 stars.

"My flight ended up being delayed twice and…"
My flight ended up being delayed twice and then got cancelled, but what bothered me most was how little information we were given throughout the whole thing. I can understand delays happen, but the lack of clear updates made it feel way more chaotic than it needed to be. Rebooking was also messy, and getting help from support took a long time. It wasn’t the absolute worst travel experience I’ve had, but it definitely turned into a stressful trip.

"WiFi barely worked and felt totally preventable"
I paid for WiFi on my Air Transat flight, but it was basically useless. It would connect for a minute, then drop again, over and over the whole time. it felt like a preventable issue if they’re going to charge people for it. Frustrating and definitely not worth the money

"Really clean and comfortable plane"
I flew with Air Transat and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well looked after the plane felt. The seats were tidy, the cabin had a fresh, cared-for feel, and even the washrooms stayed in decent shape throughout the flight. It wasn’t anything super fancy, but everything felt comfortable and properly maintained. Overall, I was really happy with the condition of the aircraft.

The crew was friendly enough, but everything felt a bit slow. I had to wait in a long queue before getting sorted, which was frustrating, and the service onboard wasn’t exactly quick either. The food was okay, nothing special. Overall the flight was fine, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Flew with Air Transat the cabin was really clean when we got on. The seats, tray table, and even the floor looked like someone had actually taken the time to tidy everything properly. Maybe they were trying to make a good impression right from boarding, but whatever the reason, it worked. It made the whole flight feel a lot more comfortable.
